Stockroom is in the process of adopting a radical new business plan, and it’s an exciting time to join an expanding organisation looking to make a renewed impact on the industry by creating some of the nation’s best new plays.
At Stockroom, we are committed to making the theatre industry more representative of contemporary Britain. As part of this commitment, we want to specifically encourage applicants who are currently underrepresented among our staff, particularly those who experience barriers and inequality due to their race, gender identity, disability and/or and socio-economic background.
We will offer individual feedback to all unsuccessful candidates who we interview. We unfortunately do not have the capacity to offer individual feedback to applicants who are not shortlisted for interviews.
If you have any questions about Stockroom, the roles, the application process, or require the job pack or any further information that will support you applying in a different format, please get in touch with us: email@example.com.
Our casting process for our productions can be quite varied. We sometimes work with partner theatres’ casting departments and freelance casting directors to cast our shows. We occasionally conduct our casting in-house, but this is rare. Increasingly, we are holding open auditions for our shows; if you’d like to hear about these, sign up to our mailing list and remember to tick the “training and opportunities” box. We will also post details of Open Auditions to our social media channels, so make sure you are following us on Twitter and have liked us on Facebook. You can also check out our instagram here.
We often get invites to come and see shows from people who would like to work with us. Whilst we will do our best to carefully consider each one, we sadly aren’t able to see every show. If you are interested in Stockroom seeing your work, please send information to firstname.lastname@example.org Unfortunately we won’t be able to respond individually to each invite, but we will be in touch to arrange tickets if we’d like to learn more about you.
